Crowns

We use the latest technology to produce crowns, in conjunction with highly skilled technicians, which achieve a natural appearance and will blend in with the surrounding teeth.

A crown may be required:

• To stop cracks in a tooth spreading.
• To restore a tooth which has too much filling and too little remaining tooth.
• To prevent fracture of a tooth after Root Canal Treatment.
• To improve the appearance of a heavily filled tooth.
• To treat a persistently sensitive tooth.

We also have new ceramic technology available to produce 'Procera' all porcelain crowns, so that no metal is needed to give the crown sufficient strength. This uses a computer-aided design and manufacturing process and gives crowns that will look as natural as your own teeth. The crowns are actually manufactured via a computer link in Sweden.
